SproutASeed Grow Light Giveaway — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.

1. Sponsor

This giveaway is sponsored by SproutASeed ("Sponsor"), [your business name/entity and city, state]. Contact: [your email].

2. The short version

If our Kickstarter campaign succeeds, we're giving away 7 SproutASeed grow lights, shipped free. Seven of our YouTube videos are designated giveaway videos, and each one is a separate drawing with its own winner. To enter a drawing, comment "Giveaway" on that video and sign up once at this page. One win per person. US residents 18+ only. We will never ask you for money. That's the whole deal — the rest of this page is the fine print that makes it official.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

4. Giveaway condition

This giveaway is conditioned on the successful funding of the SproutASeed Kickstarter campaign (campaign period: October 22 – December 20, 2026). If the campaign does not reach its funding goal, the giveaway will be cancelled and no prizes will be awarded. We state this condition up front in every video and here so no one is misled.

5. Entry period

Entries open on [date first giveaway video publishes] and close at 11:59 PM Eastern on December 20, 2026 (the end of the Kickstarter campaign). Comments posted and signups received after the close will not be counted.

6. How to enter

Each YouTube video on the SproutASeed channel that is marked as a giveaway video (🎁 in the title or description) hosts one drawing. To enter a video's drawing, complete BOTH steps:

1. Post a comment containing the word "Giveaway" on that video, from your own YouTube account; and
2. Complete the signup form on this page with a valid email address (one signup covers all drawings — you do not need to sign up again for each video).

You may enter as many designated giveaway videos as you like — each is a separate drawing and a separate chance to win. Limit one (1) entry per person per video, and one (1) prize per person across all drawings. Entries generated by bots, duplicate accounts, or automated means will be disqualified.

Liking, subscribing, and sharing are appreciated and help our small company, but they are not required to enter or win.

7. Prize

Seven (7) winners will each receive one (1) SproutASeed grow light (approximate retail value: $[XXX]), shipped free of charge to a valid US address. Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary. Any taxes on the prize are the winner's responsibility.

Winners will never be asked to pay anything — no shipping fees, no processing fees, nothing. Anyone contacting you and asking for payment or personal financial information to "claim" a prize is a scammer and is not affiliated with us.

8. Winner selection and notification

One winner per designated video will be selected at random from that video's eligible "Giveaway" comments within fourteen (14) days after Kickstarter funds clear (estimated mid-January 2027). Each selected comment will be verified against the signup list; if the commenter did not complete the signup, a new comment will be drawn.

Winners will be announced publicly on the SproutASeed YouTube channel (video and/or community post) and contacted at the email address they provided at signup. We will never contact winners first by direct message on any platform. Winners must respond and provide a valid US shipping address within seven (7) days of notification, or an alternate winner will be drawn.

Odds of winning each drawing depend on the number of eligible entries for that video.

9. Privacy

Email addresses collected through the signup form are used to administer the giveaway and to send SproutASeed news, including the Kickstarter launch. You can unsubscribe at any time; unsubscribing after the entry period closes does not affect a pending entry. We do not sell or share your information. See our [privacy policy] for details.

10. General conditions

By entering, you agree to these rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any factor beyond Sponsor's control impairs its integrity, and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process. This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with YouTube, Kickstarter, or their parent companies. By entering, you release YouTube and Kickstarter from any liability related to this giveaway.
